Holiday Home De Pauwhoek – Enjoy peace, space and the Zeeland coast

A very warm welcome to Holiday Home De Pauwhoek!

Located at Mariekerkseweg 27 in Meliskerke, just 3.9 kilometres from the beautiful beach at Zoutelande, is our charming holiday home, De Pauwhoek. We built this new holiday home ourselves with great care, love and attention to detail. We hope our guests will immediately feel at home here and enjoy a wonderful holiday on the Zeeland coast.

The name De Pauwhoek refers to the original farmhouse that once stood behind our present farm. By using this name, we are preserving the history of this special place.

A unique location on a sheep farm

De Pauwhoek is situated on our sheep farm, in the heart of the peaceful Zeeland countryside. Here you can experience rural life at close quarters, while still being only a few minutes away from the beach or a lively seaside resort.

Wake up in the morning to the sound of birdsong, enjoy the fresh air and experience the peace and open space that make Walcheren so special. The rural surroundings provide the perfect place to completely escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Comfortable accommodation for up to 6 guests

The holiday home can accommodate up to 6 guests and is spacious, modern and comfortably furnished.

The ground floor features a generous master bedroom with comfortable box-spring beds. From this bedroom, you have direct access to the spacious bathroom, which includes a wonderful rainfall shower and a stylish vanity unit.

The cosy living room forms the heart of the house. After a wonderful day by the sea, you can relax on the comfortable sofa or enjoy playing a game together.

The spacious kitchen is fully equipped and includes:

* Induction hob;
* fridge with freezer compartment;
* combination microwave oven;
* coffee machine;
* kettle;
* toaster;
* complete range of kitchen utensils and equipment.

The holiday home is fully electric and equipped with heat pump systems for heating in winter and cooling in summer, allowing you to enjoy a comfortable and sustainable stay.

First floor

The staircase leads to an attractive open mezzanine with an additional cosy seating area. It is a lovely place to quietly read a book or enjoy a cup of coffee together.

The first floor also has two spacious bedrooms, both furnished with comfortable box-spring beds. This provides plenty of space for families, relatives or groups of friends.

Relax on your own private terrace

After a day at the beach or a beautiful cycle ride, you can relax on your own private terrace. Enjoy a peaceful cup of coffee in the morning sun or a good glass of wine on a long summer evening. The terrace offers plenty of privacy and is the ideal place to enjoy the tranquillity and rural surroundings.

Discover Walcheren

De Pauwhoek is an ideal base from which to explore Walcheren. The beaches of Zoutelande, Dishoek and Westkapelle are only a few minutes away. The charming towns of Domburg, Veere and Middelburg are also within easy reach.

The surrounding area is perfect for long walks through the dunes and woodland, beautiful cycle rides or visits to the many welcoming restaurants and outdoor terraces.
