Located near the dunes and woods, just 150 metres from the dune crossing and 1,500 metres from the boulevard of Zoutelande, this house is the ideal base for a relaxing seaside holiday.
The house accommodates up to 10 guests and is designed with a focus on light, space and comfort. With four spacious bedrooms, three bathrooms, an infrared sauna and a large garden with multiple terraces, this is the perfect holiday spot for families or groups of friends. The modern interior, large windows and fresh design create a sense of outdoor living all year round.
The cosy living room features a comfortable corner sofa, television and large windows with French doors. From both the living room and the kitchen, you have direct access to two delightful outdoor terraces: a breakfast terrace with a table and 10 chairs, and a lounge terrace with seating for 10. Perfect for long summer evenings or a peaceful start to the day. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with an induction hob, dishwasher, combi-microwave and a spacious dining table. Thanks to the many windows, the kitchen is bathed in natural light, making cooking feel like an outdoor activity.
On the ground floor, there is a bedroom with its own en-suite bathroom with shower and sink, and a separate toilet. In the hallway, you’ll find an additional toilet and a lovely infrared sauna — a great place to warm up after a long beach walk.
The first floor offers three bedrooms: two rooms with two beds each, and one room with four single beds. All bedrooms are fitted with comfortable single box-spring mattresses and duvets. Upon arrival, the beds are made and a towel package is provided for each guest, so you can immediately start enjoying your stay. The bedrooms are also equipped with air conditioning for a pleasant indoor climate, even on hot summer days. There are two bathrooms upstairs: one with a walk-in shower and one with a bathtub. An extra toilet completes the floor.
The spacious garden around the house offers plenty of room to relax. Whether you prefer to sunbathe or retreat into the shade with a good book, you’ll always find a pleasant spot on one of the two generous terraces. The house includes three parking spaces, one of which is equipped with a charging point for electric cars.
This is a non-smoking property and pets are not allowed.
From April to November, you can make use of the facilities of Strandcamping Valkenisse, just 200 metres away. There is a campsite shop, a chip shop and a takeaway — ideal for an easy meal or fresh bread in the morning.
Groot Valkenisse is a unique location, right by the dunes and forest, and only a short stroll from the beach. The surrounding area is perfect for walking, cycling and enjoying the great outdoors in Zeeland. Charming towns like Zoutelande, Koudekerke and Dishoek are nearby, and Middelburg and Vlissingen are also within easy reach for a city trip or terrace afternoon.
